FYI: This is one of those pocket parks that came about around the 1997 El Niño....there was (if memory serves) a small family dwelling there, but built in a natural watercourse (depression) that became a slide area. The commercial property just south was affected too, they were allowed flexibility because it was an emergency slope repair/rehab. The family house wasn't rebuilt, instead the family donated the parcel to the City. Then it took several years to determine potential liability if the city took ownership and a viewing platform was installed. If you blink while driving South, you miss it's entrance!
Where is this?
