Today Really Is The Last Day Of 2011

Laguna Beach: It's Friday the last day of the week. Who cares what happens on Saturday? And Sunday it's not the first day of the New Year. Technically yes but who has ever had an original thought on Sunday? And no Rose Parade on Sunday, any Sunday. That alone proves that Sunday is not the first day of the New Year. So if you want to correctly celebrate the ringing in of the New Year it has to be Sunday night. Than again if you are the careful type you could celebrate the New Years on Saturday as well. And don't forget Friday as last day of my year. So I plan on celebrating the new year on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

That's my plan.

Tides:
01:28 AM 4.24 feet High Tide
06:55 AM Sunrise
07:15 AM 2.32 feet Low Tide
12:36 PM 3.71 feet High Tide
04:52 PM Sunset
07:14 PM 0.98 feet Low Tide

Of some consolation for die-hard fans of the Rose Parade, KTLA 5 will be airing an encore of the 93rd Rose Parade, from January 1, 1982 on this Sunday, January 1st, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., with hosts Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards.

The 123rd Tournament of Roses Parade will air this Monday, January 2nd, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. on KTLA 5, also with hosts Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards.

HGTV will only air Monday's, January 2nd 2012, 123rd Tournament of Roses Parade.
