Caltrans Starts Canyon Work Today - Maybe [Update]

Laguna Beach: LagunaScapeI say maybe because they had said September 12, 2011. You saw the flashing signs didn't you? So am I worried? You forget I DON'T commute. You have a good day now.

[Update: 7:53 AM] This from the City:
Beginning today, September 26, 2011, All American Asphalt will be working for Cal Trans on a street resurfacing project along portions of Laguna Canyon Road.
The scope of work consists of an asphalt overlay over existing pavement along Laguna Canyon Road from Forest Ave. to the Toll Road. Starting on Monday, there will be three, maybe four days of daytime work from Forest Ave. to Canyon Acres Drive, work hours will be from 9:00 am to 3:00pm; the daytime work consists of asphalt grinding which is a very noisy operation.

All paving operations will be done at night between the hours of 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. The paving work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 28 and be completed by October 14th. One lane of travel, in each direction of travel will be maintained at all times.

I would be even more concerned that they say the paving work begins Wednesday, OCTOBER 28th, and is completed by OCTOBER 14th.

I guess they're hiring the Silver DeLorean Paving Company as contractors, Alex P. Keaton - President. Although seems to me that would just undo everything, but then we wouldn't know the difference either.

But we would know that Oct 28th isn't a Wednesday. So either their secret plan to rename the days of the week has been uncovered, or it was a simple error by a copy-righter.

So, does it make me masochistic to still wish it was an error by the city?

    It's funner.
