Clear And Sunny Skies For The Canyon And Only The Canyon
Saturday and Sunday I spent in central Orange County where the skies were clear and the temperature touched the 80s only to come back to Laguna to overcast skies. Only the canyon was sunny and warm. Looks like a repeat today.

201-Year-Old Man In Bar Fight -- Updated
I swear this is how it was stated in the OC Register. You can see for yourself. I should live half his age.
What: DisturbanceSometimes it just pays to read the paper. I was hoping my j-walking experience would be listed. It wasn't.
Where: 1183 S. Coast Highway , Laguna Beach, CA, 92651
When: 1:25 a.m. , Tuesday, June 01, 2010
Description: Police broke up a fight outside the Sandpiper Lounge. A 21-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 201-year-old man were cited on suspicion of assault and battery.
PS: Do you really think a picture is required?
Update: The OC Register has corrected the error. Or was it an error? Maybe this 201-year-old man is from another universe. You have just been through the Twilight Zone.
I should also note that I too can get it wrong, very wrong. I misspelled 'status' in the title of the previous post. That too has been corrected.

Never had a Radio Flyer wagon. When I was going up in the 50s we didn't have radio or wagons. Why you ask? Well I'll tell you.
1. TV was already here, Los Angeles, and we had 7 TV stations when my parents bought their first TV in 1950 or 51. So who needed radio?
2. Who would want a wagon when you could get the latest 3 speed bike? I was 6 or 7 when I got that bike. Loved it. We lived in the Valley so hills weren't a problem. Rode it all over Panarama City. Then we moved to Burbank. I started to really hate that 3 Speed monster. Hills everywhere. Up, down. Up, down.
So who needed a Radio Wagon when you already had a TV Cruiser?
$150 bucks for a wagon?
What: Petty theft
When: 1:32 p.m. , Monday, May 31, 2010
Description: A caller reported a Radio Flyer wagon stolen at Mountain Road beach. The estimated loss is $150.

Laguna's Own 'Green Zone'
I considered using this as my morning picture but thought better of it. Eat something first THEN look at this photo.
Let's say it's another one of those 'Secret Places.' Many commuters drive right over it to and from work. Some of us have to walk over it.
The good folks in the canyon can be thanked for this lovely view.

You Better Sell It Now
The OC Register's Kelli Hart has a feature of a home for sale in South Laguna. The story has several photos of the For Sale house. It gets better treatment than it would with a full page ad in the same newspaper.
So after all this free publicity it better sell.
Here's the story.

Updates To Previous Posts
The One Way sign that blocked the Walk/Don't Walk light has been corrected. Well kinda.
I like to think that we had some influence getting the blocked light fixed but I don't think so.
The meters have been installed at the new parking spaces on Cliff Dr.
Isn't this a beautiful picture Ken?

I, John Krill, Suck At Walking
I was caught walking across PCH at Ocean Ave against the red light. My fault. First j-walking ticket I ever got and I have lived in California all my life. It's not really a j-walking ticket, it's worse. That's because I walked across the street AGAINST the red light.
I cannot believe how many Starbucks lattes I have to give up to get even.

It's Back To Normal -- Really?
Is there ever a normal in Laguna? Soon, if not already, schools will be closing for the summer and the festivals will start to open in a couple of weeks.
The mornings still belong to us. Currently we have morning low tides. Take advantage of them.
