Wild Isn't It?

Laguna Beach: Wild ColorThe rains this year have the hills blooming nicely. Travel the canyon road from end to end and it's nothing but wildflowers. If I thought I wouldn't get a ticket I would spend all morning along the northern section of the road photographing the hills and the wildflowers.

I hope you commuters are enjoying the view and not texting the world what you are seeing.

  1. When I was just a kid, my Dad and me use to drive all over the dirt roads behind Laguna Beach on what was Irvine and Moulton ranches and to the South, O'neil Ranch. As you say, beautiful wildflowers this time of year. This was back in the early 60's. Hardly any gates to stop anyone back then.

  2. Very nice composition and balance with each half of the Red "bottlebrush" tree's in bloom, along with the wild mustard flowers, blue wispy sky in background....I like it!

Really great colors here, it really makes me want to paint again!
