Nice "BEFORE" foto........By next week we'll have the "DURING" shot, you'll be able to walk on bodies over the same strand without your feet touching the sand. I just hold my breath for 10-11 weeks, go downtown as seldom as possible, and watch the gridlock backed up past my door in Victoria Beach about 2 miles south. The "AFTER" part comes suddenly, the day after Labor Day when the tourists return to wherever in the hell they came from. On the other hand, being so isolated and xenophobic, maybe we need to be FORCED to experience REAL AMERICA coming to us because God knows we don't usually go to them. So it's a journey to reality, this being put under siege. Whether our tax coffers get stuffed enough this year is questionable, but America's right to travel freely within our borders is what many of us served our country for: So those blasting car horns? That's the US version of the chimes of freedom chiming :+) :+) :+).
