Extortion At The Gas Pump

With the Memorial Day Weekend approaching the gasoline stations have decided they can really jack-up the price of fuel. Who's to stop them? Not us.

On May 16, 2008 the price of regular was $3.949 per gallon at the Thrifty station. It is currently $4.139 per gallon. A rise of 19cents a gallon.

The next big question is what will the price be on Friday? Could it go to $4.249 a gallon? Only Thrifty gas station management knows the answer.

A Thrifty employee told Laguna Beat that the price will be changed each day by 1:30pm.
